Meet Dr. Shannon Trinh (Coppell, TX)

Shannon Trinh, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2016.

Dr. Trinh is passionate about serving and getting to know families in the local community. After working in hospital laboratories for two years, she transitioned into optometry to combine her medical background with a more patient-centered career. Dr. Trinh brings energy and compassion into the exam room, with a strong focus on patient service and eye health advocacy.

She completed her externships at the Fort Worth Community Eye Clinic and Frisco Eye Associates, where she gained experience in treating a wide range of ocular conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, contact lenses, and dry eye.

Dr. Trinh is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), Texas Optometric Association (TOA), and Northeast Texas Optometric Society (NETOS).

When she is not treating patients, Dr. Trinh enjoys spending time with her family, going on long walks with her dog, long-distance running, traveling, and indoor gardening.
